Here is a stunning Stoddard NH Tombstone medicine, produced at the Granite Glass Co, 1846-1860. I know because I have dug dozens of shards of these bottles on the site. This bottle is full of character, as one would expect from a Stoddard bottle… nice syrup-like honey amber glass. Applied sloping collared top, and an iron pontil base. This form is extremely desirable with an arch running across the top with beveled edges… resembling a “tombstone” shape. Whether you are a Stoddard / New England Collector or a pontiled medicine collector don’t miss this one. Fine Condition.
