Here is a wonderful pair of early American or Continental 18th century Scent bottles, great forms with intricate applications! 2 3/4″ and 3 1/2″ tall. It took some incredible skill (and patience!) to create these. Although I suspect they are from overseas, there is some evidence that such objects were created in New Jersey during the mid-late 18th century. These are RARE to find, and I am selling them as a pair. They are about perfect with just a couple minor issues. The clear one has a base chip, probably when it was pontiled. The green one has one area of loss to the rigaree. BEAUTIFUL little rarities!!
