Here is GI-85a pint LAFAYETTE / Liberty Cap flask in a light honey color, almost yellow! You can see the 3 circular indentations differentiating this mold from the 85. This is a relatively scarce flask, and many collections don’t have this one! Made (and marked) in Coventry, CT, 1820s. (* Note the misspelling of COVETRY) There is just the slightest touch of wear, otherwise perfect! This one was probably produced during General Lafayette’s visit to the United States in 1824-25. A great historical flask!
