Here is a very nice example of an early Stoddard, NH paneled medicine bottle. This is the same form as the SWETT’S PANACEA bottle from Exeter NH. Nicely whittled glowing amber glass, applied sloping collared top that has been pinched slightly (probably a pouring spout), and an iron pontil base. These are pretty tough bottles to find. They used to bring well over $1000, but this one is priced right at $745. Condition is excellent!
