Large 1830s Coventry CT Utility Bottle!

$565.00

I’m not sure what this originally held, probably a medicine or chemical (ink) bottle, now we just call it a utility bottle! I have only seen 3 of these, all being of exceptional character! I have one in my collection (that cost me a lot more than the price of this one) and I have always loved it. It almost looks like a paneled bottle because of the extensive whittled effect around the bottle. Impressive at almost 8 1/2″ tall. This has a sand chip type pontil scar that I have seen on the Coventry eagle flasks, Hohenthal bottles, and other CT made items. Excellent condition. If you are a collector of utilities or New England glass… this is a MUST HAVE!
