Here is a fantastic and rare Early American glass creamer, probably produced at a Midwestern glass factory, 1830-1850. The form has all of the attributes of a Pittsburgh product, and is a delightfully elegant and wonderfully executed specimen! Bulbous body, elongated spout, high loop solid handle with stylish rigaree, and a thin applied footed base. The form is all correct… but what makes this one an exceptional piece is the incredible VIVID YELLOW! This one screams for attention. There glass has super clarity, and nice swirls throughout. Perfect Condition! Here is one fine piece of Early American glass… first one of its kind and color that I have seen, and likely the last.
